| Description | This course will cover various methods of improving anterior aesthetics but will concentrate on new direct composite veneers (Componeers) and composite layering techniques. There will be an overview of all forms of tooth discolouration and various techniques used to treat them will be covered. The techniques will be shown on special artificial teeth models for the “hands-on” part of the course. Participants will be able to perform the various techniques of preparing and bonding direct veneers or Componeers as well as performing a complimentary procedure but with layering of enamel and dentine shades with the aid of a mock-up build up and silicone index. Characterisation techniques and age related effects will be taught for both systems. |
