DescriptionDr Munther Sulieman, a GDP and part time Research Fellow in the Dept of Oral and Dental Science Bristol Dental School, with a clinical and research interest in tooth whitening.
Additional informationOn this course you will gain in depth knowledge of all tooth whitening techniques available with appropriate indications and contraindications to enable you to carry out successful whitening procedures. Legal issues will be comprehensively covered including the ethical dilemma of dealing with under 18 year olds and the position of defence organizations and the GDC.
There will be a special emphasis on tray design for home whitening and managing sensitivity issues as well as looking at innovative ways of eliminating white spots or imperfections on teeth. In addition the course will encompass shade taking for whitening and general restorative dentistry including In-surgery and Laboratory made restorations. The various techniques will be shown on specially stained teeth for the “hands on” sessions. You will have the chance to try out these techniques yourself.
