DescriptionThis will be a day for Foundation Dentists to present to their trainers: Video Consultation: Each FD will prepare a video consultation and they will be given feedback from their peers and the trainers.
Additional informationHot tips: Each FD will prepare a 'hot tips' presentation and will take questions and feedback from their peers and the trainers.

This course is intended for Foundation Dentists and their trainers.

Cathie Brady is a GDP in mainly NHS practice. She has a special interest in Dental Education and has her Certificate in Medical Education. She also works for the Oxford Deanery as a Training Programme Director for Foundation Dentists, is a council member of the General Dental Council and is an Associate Clinical Director of Rodericks Ltd.

Aims
  1. To present individual video consultations and hot- tips to a group of peers and trainers, facilitate discussion and a question and answer debate.
  2. To self- assess and reflect upon own capabilities and limitations in order to improve and provide the highest standards of patient care.
  3. Ability to recognise, integrate, reflect and share learning opportunities within the workplace.
  4. Ability to intelligently and constructively question and debate information presented by peers ensuring that there is sound evidence base for the improvement of patient care.
