DescriptionThis course will provide fundamental information about safeguarding children in dental practice for staff who may be in a position to identify concerns about maltreatment. It meets the requirement for refresher training at least every 3 years for this target group.

SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY: Vicki Gray Victoria Gray Registered General Nurse qualifying in 1994 at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

I Worked for the Prison Health Care Service in a Category A facility gaining experience in Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Behaviour Management as well as general health care. I practised for several years as a School Nurse and Child Protection Officer before joining the Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group as Safeguarding Manager. I am currently undertaking an MSc in Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding with a particular interest regarding self neglect in older adults.
