DescriptionIf you work in a clinical environment, the GDC recommends you carry out CPD in legal and ethical issues to make sure you are up to date. This course will explore the current legal and ethical issues facing the dental team and will consider appropriate responses to situations with probable legal or ethical repercussions. It will also give guidance on managing complaints for both NHS and private practices.

Nick Torlot BDS Lond FDS RCS Eng, GDC 58632 joined the DDU as a dento-legal adviser in 2010. Previously, he was Assistant and then Clinical Director of the Salaried Dental Services in Hampshire. In addition, he has been involved in dental education as both an adviser and a vocational trainer for the London Deanery and as a vocational trainer for the Wessex Deanery.
