DescriptionThis is a full day lecture course on the subject of fixed bridgework to include: * Treatment planning and design, including material selection * Tooth preparation, * Temporisation * Impression taking * Cementation of conventional crowns and bridges. The course is very clinically oriented and will include many useful clinical tips which the practitioner will be able to incorporate into his or her own practice. Mike Cassidy, GDC 52080 qualified at Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1978 and carried out an 8 year postgraduate training programme leading to a Consultancy at Leeds Dental Institute in 1986. Ten years later, he moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands and was appointed Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Jersey General Hospital. Mike also owns a practice on the Island where he treats patients with a wide range of clinical dental problems. He is well known for his relaxed, easy-going lecture style, using clinical material from his own patients to demonstrate a wide range of clinical problems and solutions. Mike believes very firmly in evidence-based treatment, and will back up the clinical material with appropriate supportive, scientific evidence from the literature where possible. Mr Graham Gilmour, GDC 52086 is Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Mayday Hospital, Croydon - a post he has held since 1988.
