| Description | DESCRIPTION: Every member of the dental team must know how to maintain high standards of decontamination and comply with HTM 01-05. This course will provide a comprehensive review of infection control and decontamination in the dental setting, with emphasis on best practice and management strategies. |
| Additional information | SPEAKER: Dr Martin Fulford BDS MPHIL DGDP FIBMS, GDC 61504 spent 13 years in medical microbiology before qualifying as a dentist. He then combined general dental practice and research, with particular emphasis on infection control, before retiring from clinical dentistry 17 years later. Martin has published numerous peer reviewed papers and a textbook on infection control in dentistry. He is currently a member of an ISO working group on microbial contamination in dental unit waterlines and lectures worldwide on the prevention and control of infections in the dental setting. |
