Aims
  1. Describe in appropriate detail the principles and techniques involved in the restoration and maintenance of the dentition using osseointegrated implants, and the maintenance (including the recognition and management of) peri-implant disease
  2. The principles and techniques involved in the surgical placement of dental implants.
  3. VDPs will be aware: they must not place implants until they have completed a training programme that meets GDC requirements.
