DescriptionThis short webinar will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and its medical management. Suitable for the entire practice team, this is a good introduction to the CQC requirements for all health and social care providers registered with CQC to ensure that their staff receive training in how to interact appropriately with people who have a learning disability and autistic people, at a level appropriate to their role. Aims

For attendees to gain a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and its medical managements.

For the dental team to appreciate the impacts that ASD can have on oral Health.

To explore some of the common challenges faced by the dental team when providing dental care for patients with ASD and aid them gain confidence in providing dental care for patients with ASD in order to improve oral health and create positive enviroments.
