| Description | All members of the dental team must have a sound understanding of the theory behind medical emergency management so they can deal quickly with uncommon but potentially tragic events. This THEORY course (am) meets the annual GDC requirements for CPD in medical emergencies and complements practical BLS training (pm). |
| Additional information | This course is suitable for the entire practice team. Lynn Fox is a registered nurse and part time Senior Resuscitation Officer and Anaphylaxis lead for Oxford University Hospitals. In this role she provides basic and advanced training for the nursing and medical staff through nationally recognised courses in PLS, APLS, ALS, ILS, EPLS and GIC courses. She is also a consultant and instructor for her own company Resus Plus Training. Her experience is over many years and she is recognised as being a stimulating and thought provoking instructor. Lynn is also lectured on anaphylaxis and instructed on a CPR workshop at the British Dental Association conference in Manchester April 2014. |
