Aims
  1. To understand the financial matters relating to treatment provided for patients in general practice and other relevant clinical environments including dentistry, private fee per item schemes and private capitation schemes.
  2. To understand the financial management of a general dental practice and other relevant clinical environments
  3. To demonstrate an appropriate knowledge of business management and development, including the ability to develop a business plan, the production of a cash flow analysis and a written proposal to a bank. To have an understanding of the role of being a mentor and role model for other members of the healthcare team.
