  1. Have examined the principal components of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 and Ionising Radiations (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000
  2. Have a fundamental understanding of radiation physics, radiobiology and radiation risks
  3. Be able to protect patients and staff from unintended, excessive or incorrect exposures in dental radiology
  4. Have learned how to ensure the consistent quality of radiographs
