Additional informationThis course is intended for members of Health Education Thames Valley and Wessex Dental Faculty.

Jane Pierce is Head of Education Policy and Quality Assurance at the GDC.

Tessa joined Oxford Deanery in January 2007 and has been Quality Assurance Manager since May 2009. Tessa co-ordinates the medical and dental quality management process, including the development, implementation and evaluation of a robust quality management framework. Tessa reports on all aspects of quality with regard to postgraduate medical and dental education within Trusts and across Postgraduate Specialty Schools in HETV , in accordance with the standards set down by the GMC and Medical Royal Colleges and their Faculties, and is responsible for writing the bi-annual Dean's Return to the GMC. Tessa works with the wider HETV team to in further developing HETV 's multi-professional approach to quality management.

  2. To list the methods of quality management used by Health Education Thames Valley and Wessex
  3. To understand what the GDC expects of CPD providers in terms of quality assurance
  4. To be able to implement a Quality Assurance programme as part of your role.
