DescriptionHave you been away from clinical practice and wish to refresh your skills and knowledge? This small group hands-on day will refresh your hands on skills in cavity design and preparation, and in handling materials, and will improve your confidence in a supportive but instructive atmosphere.
Additional informationThe morning will be spent considering the theory of cavity preparation, then time for preparing and filling a range of cavities in the skills room. The afternoon will focus on the theory of and then time for preparation of crowns.
Suggestions for pre-course reading material will be circulated approximately two weeks in advance, so that you can make the best possible use of skills room time.

This course is not suitable for dental therapists, nor for ORE/LDS preparation, and priority will be given to dentists residing in the HEE Thames Valley area (i.e. Berks, Bucks, Hants and Isle of Wight) and who can demonstrate that they are returning to practice in the near future (for example those who have a current PDP that supports attendance on this type of course.)
