DescriptionWe are pleased to offer a 5.5 hour parallel CPD day in conjunction with IR(ME)R for dentists, containing approximately 2.45 hours of mandatory core CPD in a relaxed and friendly environment. The topics being presented despite being independent all link together due to their content making this an interesting and educational day.
Additional informationNikki Rogers a Dental Nurse Tutor from Bristol Dental Hospital will be delivering the following sessions through a lecture style presentation with audience participation:
• To provide a radiation and radiography protection course for DCP’s
• To demonstrate techniques to enable participants to quality assurance and grade radiographs.
• An introduction to conscious sedation in dentistry for all those with an interest/ hoping to qualify in this area of dentistry.

This course is intended for Dental Care Professionals (This course is not suitable for dentists, for which IR(ME)R is provided at the same time/day).

Nikki Rogers a Dental Nurse Tutor from Bristol Dental Hospital, who has many years experience in teaching dental nurses. Nikki is also the Chairperson of the NEBDN Committee for dental radiography. She is also the co-author of the text book ‘Conscious sedation for DCPs.
