After graduating from London University in 1989, Julia worked in the Community Dental Service and spent a year working in Saudi Arabia before being appointed SHO in the Oral and Maxillofacial Unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. She went on to work in general practice in the Midlands before leaving clinical practice to study law. After a period as both a Local Adviser and an Associate Dento-Legal Adviser, Julia was appointed as a full-time Dento-Legal Adviser in 2008. She is responsible for overseeing the relationship that Dental Protection has with the employment law specialists, Croner Consulting
