DescriptionThis interactive day will help dentists and their teams to recognise and manage stress in themselves, but will also deal with the management of nervous patients. The workshop is designed to promote an environment geared towards calmer patients and, perhaps more importantly, the practitioner using this knowledge to better manage their own emotional responses to every day challenges. Teams will learn how to improve their communication skills and at the same time will develop their emotional intelligence.

Aims
  1. Understand how anxiety and phobias form and how they can be effectively relieved; how to defuse anxious states and re-orientate patients to calmness
  2. Learn how to see how each patient thinks and adapt your language in order to communicate most effectively.
  3. Learn how to use hypnotic language to guide your patient into a state of calmness (with 4 powerful, rapid inductions for you to use).
  4. Understand how you can keep calm even when dealing with anxious patients, recover quickly afterwards and reduce your stress levels.
