Additional informationCan each Foundation trainee dentist think of a paediatric case they are having a challenge with currently and be prepared to discuss the case in a smaller group They can bring radiographs/copies study models and clinical notes to help if required

Currently Clinical Director and Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry for Oxfordshire Salaried Primary Care Dental Service
Has worked extensively in Community, Maxfax/ortho and General Dental Practice in her career.

Rosalind Mitchell - Particularly interested in treating children with special care and Cleft palate patients and trauma.

This course is suitable for Dental Foundation Trainees.

  1. To understand how to make a good paeds dental referral.
  2. To improve knowledge with regard to evidence based treatment planning in order to provide better care for patients back in the surgery.
  3. To use real examples for case discussion in groups in order to gain more confidence in treatment planning and techniques for all paeds patients.
  4. To better understand how to use 3rd edition Delivering better Oral health toolkit in conjunction with all paeds patients To be updated on paeds safe guarding and know how to refer.
