Ian Hamilton (GDC 68870)is a registered dentist with a background in radiation protection and an MSc in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He has presented on radiation safety at International conferences in Budapest (2009) and Hiroshima (2011), he teaches at undergraduate level (Peninsula Dental School) and to newly-qualified dentists undertaking their Foundation training (Oxford and Wessex Deaneries, NHS Scotland and NHS Highlands). Appointed as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Defence Dental Services, he lectures widely throughout the UK in Radiography and Radiation Protection for all members of the Dental Team and his course feed-back reports consistently rate this mandatory training as a lively, entertaining and informative day.
