Aims
  1. Extraction of erupted teeth, and the appropriate diagnosis and management of any common complications.
  2. Effective management including extraction where appropriate of buried roots, un-erupted, impacted, ectopic and supernumerary teeth.
  3. Effective management of benign soft tissue lesions including simple surgical procedures where appropriate.
  4. Take an accurate drug history including current / self –medication, and enquire, recognize the significance of and manage any history regarding allergic reactions.
  5. Recognise and anticipate potential drug interactions that may occur between medications prescribed by patient’s doctor and those used in dental practice.
