DescriptionThis course is suitable for Foundation Dentists and Foundation Therapists. Sanhita Subramanian qualified at Liverpool Dental School in 1990. After completing vocational training she entered general practice, working in NHS and private practices in the London area. Since 2001 she has worked in a large mixed practice in Milton Keynes.
Additional informationSanhita was a Vocational Trainer with the Eastern Deanery for six years and is currently a Foundation Trainer with the Oxford Deanery. She has completed the Certificate in Dental Education.
Sanhita is a Professional Assessor in general dental practice for NCAS (National Clinical Assessment Service) and a member of the Milton Keynes Local Dental Committee.
Member of the Fitness to Practice Panel for the GDC.

  1. To have a better understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework that underpins general dental practice
  2. To identify the risks in general dental practice and how to manage them effectively
  3. To understand what we mean by ‘reward’ and how to achieve the best from your VT year
  4. To review the critical success factors in the VT year and understand the principles of resilience under stressful conditions
  5. To enable the FD to easily complete their e-pdps with successful reflective logs
