Aims
  1. To ensure appropriate clinical support is available to newly qualified graduates and to identify areas where trainees may need targeted follow up training in their practice.
  2. To help trainees be comfortable with peer review and to help them objectively identify specific individual learning needs
  3. All trainees to carry out a range of standardized basic operative procedures routinely undertaken in general practice, on plastic teeth mounted in a dental manikin.
  4. TPDs and trainees to systematically review each others’ work and give constructive feedback
  5. Trainees to develop an individual written learning plan to share with their trainer and TPD, including how their progress will be measured
