Dr Matthew Langford

I am currently a trust-grade SHO at Salisbury District Hospital with an interest in Plastic, Burns and Reconstructive Surgery. Until August 2014, I was a FY2 doctor working in Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital Southampton. I had also worked in Breast and Acute General Surgery at Southampton. Prior to this I worked as a House Officer at St. Mary's Hospital, Isle of Wight. I attended graduate medical school at the University of Aberdeen, during which I was involved with a Neurosurgical research project into surgical outcomes of Facial Nerve Function at Christchurch Public Hospital, New Zealand. My undergraduate degree was Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology) also at the University of Aberdeen, with a research project looking at links between Cannabis use and Schizophrenia.
