DescriptionThis course will concentrate on protecting Vulnerable Adults and familiarise staff with recognising and understanding Dementia.

David Sills MSc BSc is qualified as a Mental Health Nurse 2003. Qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) specialising for people with psychosis in 2007. He completed an MSc in Healthcare Management in 2010. Currently being employed at HWPH NHS Trust working with people with dementia.

Joanne Bernett has been a qualified nurse for twenty years and has worked in Senior Nursing roles in the community and acute settings during her career. JoanneI has a specialist interest in quality improvement and prior to her current post she was Head of Clinical Effectiveness for Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals' Trust. She is currently Lead Nurse for Older People and facilitates the Trust’s work programmes on Falls, Dementia and Incontinence and Trust Lead for Safeguarding Adults.
