Aims
  1. To give trainees information about the relevant legislation, national and local guidance in accordance with ‘What to do if you are worried about a child being abused’
  2. To raise trainees’ awareness of the ethical issues surrounding safeguarding training
  3. To develop trainees’ skills so that they can actively participate in inter-agency safeguarding children practice and procedures
  4. To allow trainees the opportunity for a Q&A session with an experienced child protection lead nurse
