Neil is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial / Head & Neck surgeon in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, South Wales. The majority of his practice involves ablative and reconstructive surgery for oral cancer.

Neil undertook his medical and dental degrees at Bart's and The London followed by junior doctor posts in London, Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) and Wessex. Neil gained a National Training Number in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in 2013 and headed to South Wales to complete his training, gaining his FRCS(OMFS) in 2017 and taking up a consultant post in 2018.

In addition to his busy NHS practice, the remainder of Neil’s times is taken up with his role as the British Boxing Board of Control Head Office Medical Officer. In this role Neil plays an integral part in the medical safety of professional Boxing in the United Kingdom.

2. To review the features of premalignant and malignant lesions of the oral mucosa. When to refer and how.

3. To reinforce the importance of early detection and early referral for suspected oral cancer.
