Aims
  1. To provide GDP's with a review of the current thinking regarding the aetiology and development of periodontal problems.
  2. To review the iatrogenic causes of periodontal problems and the steps that can be taken to reduce these objectives.
  3. To enable GDP's to provide more "perio friendly" dentistry for their patients, thus reducing the likelihood of dentistry caused periodontal problems
