DescriptionThe GDC has stated that all Dentists and their teams must be able to respond to medical emergencies that may occur in their practice. It is also now mandatory to include medical emergencies training in the five year CPD cycles. The medical emergencies course will provide the dental practitioner theoretical underpinning for a range of commonly encountered emergency conditions and explore best practice.

Lee Berry is a registered nurse with a background of critical care nursing who has worked as a resuscitation trainer for over 5 years. He is currently working at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital as the Resuscitation and Simulation Lead. Lee has been providing medical emergency and BLS/ILS training for general dental practitioners and their teams for the last 5 years.
