DescriptionThis “Core of Knowledge” in dentistry course provides dental professionals with an update in dental radiography, radiation physics and radiation safety, meeting compulsory five year CPD requirements as recommended by the GDC and covering IR(ME)R topics as specified in the Department of Health’s 2001 Guidance Notes booklet.

Ian Hamilton MSc BDS BSc Civ Eng, GDC 68870 is a dentist with a background in radiation protection who, after gaining his MSc in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, was appointed as the Subject Matter Expert for the Defence Dental Services. Ionising radiation and Core of Knowledge training delivered by Ian, at undergraduate and postgraduate level across England and Scotland, is always entertaining and extremely informative.
