AvailabilityCourse has taken place
SubjectOther
DescriptionA one day course updating receptionists with respect to their duties and responsibilities and how these are limited by GDC "Scope of Practice". The course will also provide fresh insight into communication skills and examine how they impact upon practice performance and function. The course will discuss factors impacting upon receptionists in these areas, to develop fresh insights and positive response strategies when such challenges arise.
Additional informationIt is also hoped this relatively rare opportunity for receptionists to attend a meeting restricted to themselves and their peers will provide a forum for free discussion of issues relevant to them, away from the restrictions present around others in their practices. It is also hoped this may reveal suggestions for meetings/courses receptionists feel are relevant to them.

* This course will provide supporting evidence for CQC outcomes 1, 3 and 21 in particular and may also provide some evidence for outcomes 2, 6, 12, 13, 14 and 17.

It may also contribute to other CQC outcomes.
This course is suitable for practice receptionists.
(Dental Nurses performing Reception duties as part of their duties may also attend).
