DescriptionThis course is to raise awareness about your roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults within your organisation.

Jane Bell is the PCT Safeguarding Lead Nurse and works with the Quality and Strategy team of the PCT.
She is a member of both Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children's and Adults Boards. She has led the health response in both Serious Case Reviews for children and Domestic Homicide Reviews. Jane has the statutory role of Oxfordshire Designated Child Protection Nurse. Prior to this she worked for many years as both a Health Visitor and Community Nurse.

Kathy Norman is the Development and Information Officer for Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board.
This involves working across agencies, ensuring
consistency in safeguarding training. Has worked in adult social care for
more than 20 years, in various roles, spending the last 6 years working with
statutory and private providers of social care in workforce development.
