DescriptionThis 1-day course covers the core subjects recommended for continuing training by the GDC and NRPB Guidance Notes on the safe use of X-Ray Equipment which includes: • The principles of Radiation Physics • Selection criteria • Risks of Ionising Radiation • Radiation Doses • Statutory Requirements • Quality Assurance • Radiation Protection This course is intended for Dentists and DCP's Ian Hamilton is a registered dentist with a background in radiation protection and an MSc in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He has presented at International conferences in Budapest (2009) and Hiroshima (2010), he teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His lectures in Radiography and Radiation Protection applies to all members of the Dental Team and his course feed-back reports consistently rate this mandatory training day as lively, entertaining and informative.
