Additional informationAfter qualifying from Birmingham Dental School in the early 80�Œs, Janine Brooks spent her whole clinical career in Community Dentistry, the last 17 years as a Clinical Director. In April 2003 she was appointed the first dental adviser to the National Clinical Assessment Authority (NCAS) and in February 2005 became Associate Director (Dentistry) with the responsibility for leading the dental development programme and advising the senior management team on all aspects of dentistry. Currently associate dean of Oxford and Wessex Deaneries she is responsible for working with dentists in difficulty and the continuing registration programme. Janine is CEO at The Dental Coaching Academy and in July 2011, launched her own company, Dentalia providing coaching for leadership to dental professionals and a broad range of education and training topics to include reflective practice, ethical practice, leadership skills, under performance and communication skills.
