DescriptionThis course is one of a number of courses designed to provide an introduction to NHS dentistry, essential for dentists who are undertaking vocational training by assessment, to dentist who are new to NHS dentistry and for those who are returning to NHS dental practice.
Additional informationThis course will assist delegates to produce supporting evidence for CQC outcomes 1ABCEFG, 4BCD, 13 and 14.
This Course will cover:
•The legal and ethical issues around working in a dental practice.
•The standards set by the General Dental Council for Dental professionals.
•How to handle complaints and manage concerns raised in dental practice.
•To understand the importance of communication to the customer journey.
•To understand the methods of communication and the processes which ensure you get your message across.
•To understand the concept of personal social style and behaviour.
•Correct professional behavior.

Speakers:
Seema Sharma (GDC NO.64971) is a general dental practitioner and founder of Dentabyte ltd. Seema combines clinical excellence and management expertise in her research and training. Seema has special interest in Communication skills and Clinical Governance in dentistry. Seema also trains and manages compliance through her two new ventures VAK Mentor and Compliance Cloud. She has excellent teaching skills and makes the topics very easy to understand. Seema’s experience in general dentistry and her further training makes the teaching day very interesting as she includes day to day examples from her own dental career.
