  1. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. Decision making - to treat or not to treat. The importance of radiographs in endodontics. Single versus multiple visits.
  2. Access cavities. To be competent in hand and rotary preparation.
  3. To be competent in filling the root canal using cold and warm gutta percha techniques.
  4. Review:- (i) the restoration of a tooth following endodontic treatment; (ii) prognosis and follow up.
