  1. To have an understanding of the various causes of tooth discolouration.
  2. To have comprehensive knowledge of all tooth whitening techniques available to treat tooth discolouration (home and power bleaching procedures) with their appropriate indications and contraindications.
  3. To have knowledge of the use of tooth whitening techniques for discolouration in the endodontically treated tooth.
  4. To understand and be able to use new systems of shade taking.
