Edward Crouch GDC number 58510:
Edward is Secretary of Birmingham LDC and a new member of the BDA PEC . In 2008 he was voted by Dentistry Magazine's readers as the Most Influential Dentist of that year having successfully challenged the PCT and DoH regarding termination clauses in PDS Contracts in the High Court. He is currently Chair of the West Midlands LDCs and President of the Central Counties Branch of the BDA. He has recently stood down from The Executive of the General Practice Committee of the BDA.

Amanda Crosse BDS, LDS(RCS), DDPH(RCS), MSc:
Amanda has been a Consultant in Dental Public Health since 2001 and works across several PCTs. She has an on-going commitment to postgraduate education and she acted as Course Organiser for the London Region Salaried Dental Service Vocational Training scheme as well as honorary lecturer at King's College. She has also acted as examiner for the DDPH. To date she has had one trainee who has successfully completed training and has experience overseeing other trainees in her role as Programme Training Director and Chair of the Local Specialist Training Committee for Dental Public Health. Currently she sits on the Specialist Advisory Committee in Dental Public Health, is a Regional Speciality Advisor and Faculty Assessor to the Royal College of Surgeons.

Paul Batchelor BDS, DDPH(RCS), MCDH, MFPH, PhD, FFGDP, FDS, FPHM:
Paul qualified from Liverpool working in a number of primary dental care posts prior to taking up the post of lecturer at the London Hospital. He them moved to King's College and onto UCL. He currently holds a Consultant contract with Berkshire PCT, and honorary Senior Lecturer post at UCL and acts as the Course Director for Dental Leadership and Management at the FGDP(UK) and National Research Facilitator. He is an assessor for Fellowship of the FGDP(UK) as well as examiner for the MJDF and ORE. He is a past President of the British Association for the Study of Community Dental Health and has worked for a number of international and national agencies as well as being a member of the European Health Policy Group. He is also a co-author of the undergraduate textbook Essential Dental Public Health.
