DescriptionThe Care Quality Commission change from standards, to regulations based on outcomes, requires providers to ensure that care and treatment is provided to service users with appropriate regard to their age, gender, religious persuasion, sexual orientation, racial origin, cultural and linguistic background and/or disability.
Additional informationThis course will raise awareness about Equality and Diversity and encourage delegates to take a proactive approach within their workplace. Delegates will learn about discriminatory practice, gain knowledge on how to promote equal opportunities for everyone and recognise the value of diversity.

Our speaker will explore the following topics:
• What is meant by Equality and Diversity
• Legislation relating to Equality and Diversity
• Factors essential to promoting Equality and Diversity in the dental practice.

Attending this course will provide evidence to help delegates achieve compliance against many CQC outcomes.

This course is intended for the entire practice team: Dentists, Therapists, Hygienists, Dental Nurses, Practice Managers, Receptionists, Business Managers, Clinical Dental Technicians, Dental Technicians.

Lil Niddrie joined Denplan in 1993 and has worked in many areas of the company to support dental practices. Her wealth of knowledge and experience enables her to deliver a wide range of training courses. Lil has a BA degree in Social Anthropology and is a Clinical Hynotherapist. She has a specialist interest in advanced communication skills and personal development.
