| Description | Dentistry operates within a legal framework and all registrants should be aware of the legal sanctions that operate. The GDC requires all registrants who work in a clinical setting to undertake CPD in legal and ethical issues. |
| Additional information | The speaker will address the current legal and ethical issues facing the dental team and will focus on appropriate responses to situations with legal and ethical matters. The course also satisfies CQC outcomes 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 21. Jo Russell is the Director of Practice business solutions and has over 24 years of experience in the dental profession and has acquired considerable expertise in all areas of the business of dentistry. She holds a certificate in Education and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Health and Safety. Jo is a popular and enthusiastic teacher and speaker in the subjects of practice management, health and safety at work, radiation protection, clinical governance, human resources, marketing and advertising, reflective practice and customer service. |
