DescriptionThe introduction of “HTM 0105 Decontamination in Primary care dental practices” has presented fresh challenges for all dental practices. This course will assist all dentists to re-assess their infection control, disinfection and decontamination procedures, and to move their practices towards “best practice”. It will demonstrate how practice teams can work together to satisfy HTM 01 05, and Clinical Governance requirements.
Additional informationThis course covers a GDC CPD core subject requirement, and also covers CQC outcome 8.

Objective:

To provide all members of the dental team a broad knowledge of infection control
To enable team members to risk assess their own practices
To enable the dental team to apply the latest standards of IC in their own surgeries
