Feedback provides staff with information about what they are valued for and what they can improve on. | Additional information | This essential course will assist managers to appraise staff effectively and will give guidance to those being appraised. Topics covered will include the following: • How an appraisal interview should work • Appraisal skills for managers • The role and contribution of employees • How to give and receive constructive feedback • How to reflect on what has gone well and what could be better • How to motivate team members and set objectives • Handling tricky appraisals • Having difficult appraisal conversations Attending this course will also help dental practice staff to achieve compliance against all CQC Outcomes and in particular Outcome 14: Supporting workers. People are kept safe, and their health and welfare needs are met because staff are competent to carry out their work and are properly trained, supervised and appraised.
