DescriptionDescription: This course is one of a number of courses designed to provide an introduction to NHS dentistry, essential for dentists who are undertaking vocational training by assessment, and who are expected to provide a portfolio of evidence for assessment against vocational training by assessment competencies determined by COPDEND and leading to a certificate of Vocational Training.
Additional informationTrainers and Trainees will be required to attend this one day module.

The course will cover:
• A thorough understanding of the guidance published for the trainers under the VTA scheme.
• An understanding for the development of evidence portfolio for Vocational training by assessment.
• An understanding of the personal development plan and how to design one.
• The importance of Audit and its importance in clinical duties.
• An understanding of reflective writing in day to day practice.
