The course will cover all aspect of dental radiography relevant to the taking of dental radiographs. The information discussed in the lecture room will then be demonstrated in the surgery environment, using the facilities of the Royal South Hants Hospital Dental Department. This will cover both the theoretical aspects of what happens when an x-ray exposure occurs and the relevant records and communications required to maintain good governance, and comply with legal requirements.Delegates will have the opportunity to use a range of film holder and beam aiming devices, and there will be opportunities to discuss the relative merits of the devices with the course organisers.
