Additional informationAn update to highlight essential decontamination methods and the different types of infections that we encounter in the dental practice.

TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
*HTM01-05 – Now it’s in place, how it’s affecting practices. The law and who is responsible
*Updates regarding the document and the audit tool.
*Disinfection, decontamination, storage and waste procedures
*Diseases, causes, symptoms and prevention
*Equipment and policies
*The chemicals used for decontamination and cleaning

Attending this course will provide evidence to demonstrate compliance with some of the requirements linking to Outcome 8: cleanliness and infection control, CQC outcome 10: safety and suitability of premises, CQC outcome 11: safety, availability and suitability of equipment, CQC outcome 12: requirements relating to workers, CQC outcome 13: staffing, CQC outcome 14: supporting workers and CQC outcome 21: records.

Please note: There are 2 courses running today – Perio (am) and Infection control (pm). They are 2 separate courses. If you wish to attend both am and pm courses, you need to book on to both courses separately. Please note lunch is NOT provided but there is a cafe on site or you can bring your own lunch.
