DescriptionThis course is one of a number of courses designed to provide an introduction to NHS dentistry, essential for dentists who are undertaking vocational training by assessment.
Additional informationThe course is also suitable for dentists who are new to the NHS, returning to NHS dental practice, or otherwise participating in the Southampton “Introduction to the NHS” series of Postgraduate meetings.

A day lecture / "hands-on" course for Dentists, providing an update on endodontic treatment. It includes “hands on” training in root canal preparation and obturation. The "hands-on" sessions alternate with demonstrations, advice and guidance from Dr. Nigel Foot, registered Endodontic Specialist. Dr. Foot will also enquire of any concerns delegates have with respect to endodontic best practice, and will attempt to address those in the course of the day.

The course fees covers the costs of both rotary and hand files used during the day, along with all other accessories, cutting blocks, use of endo motors and obturation materials. It also includes coffees and lunch.

This course will assist delegates to provide supporting evidence for CQC outcomes 6AB, 13 and 14.
