DescriptionThis course is one of a number of courses designed to provide an introduction to NHS dentistry, essential for dentists who are undertaking vocational training by assessment.

* The structure of the NHS
* How NHS dental contracts are commissioned,
* NHS dental regulations, contract and dentists responsibilities
* Vocational Training by Assessment
* Personal Development Plans
* Reflective learning and portfolio requirements.

The course is also suitable for dentists who are new to the NHS or who are returning to NHS dental practice.

Dentists undertaking VT by assessment, or otherwise participating in the Southampton “Introduction to the NHS” series of Postgraduate meetings.

This course will assist delegates to produce supporting evidence for CQC outcomes 1ABCDE, 6A, 12, 13, 14, 16AB & 21AB.
