Peter Gordon is delivering this course for the Deanery. Peter Co- Authored “Dental Photography” BDJ 1987 with Phillip Wander and has been involved for many years as Honorary Clinical Teacher UCL Eastman Dental Institute, giving lectures and advice on clinical photography on their Post Graduate Teaching programmes.

Aims
  1. Delegates will be aware of the theory of close up photography and why the recommended equipment is advised Live Demonstration Suggested equipment and reasons for it’s selection in special situations such as oral surgery/implantology.
  2. Take the recommended views selected by the BADC &AACD. Awareness of views selected by other specialities.
  3. HANDS ON List reasons for using recommended equipment Demonstrate why the specific settings are suggested Demonstrate use of retractors and mirrors to achieve consistent and reproducible images.
  4. Awareness of why “the unexpected result occurred” and demonstrate how to rectify the problem. Delegates will know what to purchase for their specific requirements.
