Aims
  1. To update DCP’s in legal and ethical challenges which face us working in dental practices.
  2. To identify the different types of tooth wear, and how to provide patients with preventative advice.
  3. Be aware of the importance of ‘Professionalism’ and issues reflected in our very own professional body BADN
  4. Bone Grafting in Implant Surgery. The aim of this lecture is to provide delegates with a comprehensive introduction to the theory, principles and practice of bone augmentation and guided bone regeneration. Aims and Objectives: • Principles of bone augmentation and guided bone regeneration • Autogenous, allogenic, xenogenic and alloplastic materials • Identification and selection of an appropriate augmentation technique • Clinical use of autogenous bone, particulate graft material and membranes • Distraction osteogenesis and surgical techniques for sinus floor elevation
