Aims
  1. An understanding of the requirements for and processes involved in risk assessment within the workplace and resultant action
  2. The analysis of patient safety incidents and the development of strategies (eg Significant Event Analysis) to reduce the risk of reoccurance
  3. Takes an appropriate responsibility for health and safety issues in dentistry, including those relating to patients, onself and practice staff. The trainee has up-to-date knowledge and understanding of infection control procedures and is competent in the implementation of these in daily practice
  4. Can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and understanding of legislation that impacts on dentistry
