DescriptionA half day course for the whole dental team. The session is a mixture of theory, discussions and practical exercises. It is delivered in a relaxed format, with interaction and participation encouraged throughout.
Additional informationBy the end of the course, participants will be able to :

• Recognise different types of deafness.
• Use a range of simple, commonly used communication skills ( Verbal, manual and written )
• Understand technologies used by deaf people to communicate
• Address, greet and take leave of a Deaf sign language user
• Spell the alphabet in BSL
